Reimagining GP healthcare in Aotearoa

Find the gold standard of care with a relationship-led private general practice, wherever you are in New Zealand

Our team of highly experienced clinicians creates space for trust, for time, and for care that lasts across every stage of health.

Aurum Health is a premium private general practice delivering relationship-led healthcare in New Zealand. Our care is provided by experienced clinicians who prioritise continuity, clinical quality, and the time needed to build trusted, long-term relationships with our clients.

Our Leadership Team

Combined, our leadership team has over 35 years of experience in managing and delivering healthcare services in New Zealand. As the owners and co-founders, we are responsible for clinical quality, client experience, and the delivery of safe, meaningful healthcare.

Ian Hartley-Dade, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Aurum Health.

Ian Hartley-Dade,
Managing Director

Ian brings more than twenty years of experience across health and social care, including a decade in New Zealand’s public health system and earlier leadership roles in the United Kingdom.

What drives Ian is building a culture where the right thing happens and where everyone is recognised for their contribution. Known for his dynamic, strategic thinking and GSD approach, Ian balances authenticity with a touch of whackiness.

While Aurum’s leadership sets the vision, it is the combined effort of the whole team who bring it to life every day.

Beyond Aurum, Ian enjoys good wine, the company of his husband, time with his brothers, nieces, and their families. He relishes time on his section, tiny-house living and playing with his two dogs, Flo and Lola.

Mary-Ann Clueard, Clinical Director and Co-Founder of Aurum Health.

Mary-Ann Clueard,
Clinical Director

Mary-Ann brings more than twenty years of nursing experience across primary care, aged care, and hospital services. Beyond her clinical skill, she offers a calm, steady presence in guiding our clinical team. Her judgement and commitment to quality ensure that best practice and evidence-based care sit at the heart of the Aurum experience.

As a passionate nurse, Mary-Ann continues to work with some of Aurum’s clients, keeping close to the care we deliver and ensuring the Aurum standard is consistently met.

Outside of her professional role, Mary-Ann values time with her husband and two adult daughters. One is based overseas, working alongside a high-performance racing brand, while the other has followed her mum into the profession and recently gained her nursing degree. Mary-Ann also enjoys reading widely, sometimes serious, sometimes light-hearted, and is known for her playful sense of humour that brings balance and warmth to those around her.

Work with Aurum Health

Aurum Health offers a refreshing alternative to traditional practice. One where time is respected, expertise is valued, and clients receive the kind of care a clinician is proud to deliver. If you’re a clinician working in the community who shares our vision, we’d love to hear from you. Join us now and let’s set a new standard in private general practice.

Care that gives back

Aurum Health isn’t driven by creating better healthcare for just some. We have partnered with Tai Tokerau Emergency Housing Charitable Trust and adopted a Buy One, Fund One model. For every service purchased, we fund a GP consultation for someone in a vulnerable housing situation or experiencing homelessness.

We’re proud to offer a fully private, relationship-led approach to general practice across New Zealand, designed for kiwis who value thoughtful, long-term care.
